We’ve officially weathered the flood – welcome back fields! That’s one insanely high water line on the barn.

After spending two months working on projects that are still no where near done(stripping 5 layers of paint off three doors is…difficult. And frustrating. And not fun), I’ve decided to get back to painting.  I need a sense of accomplishment. Sure not getting that at work.

So after buying about 10 samples of paint, and still not crazy over anything, I went and decided on for colors three rooms in 10 minutes and sent Nick to purchase a couple of gallons of each. Nothing like just wanting to get something done!

This room,

is going to be painted Hale Navy (Benjamin Moore).

It’s going to be crazy dark in there, but I’m hopeful, especially after seeing the nursery pictures over at Pure Style Home. And if it’s just awful – well, it’s just paint. 🙂 Easy to fix.

The tiny guest will have the trim finally painted.  After trying about about 8 different greens and not loving any them, I’m just going to paint it gray.

Benjamin Moore’s Coventry Gray is the winner. Though now I’m thinking I should have gone with something just a tad lighter…oh well…

And the office is now going to be painted Wythe Blue (also Benjamin Moore). I wasn’t too sure about this, but then I found a photo of it on 1912 Bungalow. They have the same type and color of trim, and I’m pretty excited how well Wythe Blue pairs with that trim. Here’s the office set up as a temporary guest room:

Now I just need to find time to paint…
